Vegan & gluten free brownies🍪🌱

Hello guys!

Today I will tell you about my recipe for vegan, sugar-free and gluten-free chocolate brownies! And with 260 kcal per piece only! Considering that traditional brownies is 466 kcal per piece, it's a turning point, isn't it?


The brownie, also known as chocolate brownie or Manchester brownie, is a chocolate cake, typical dessert of American cuisine, so called because of its dark color. In the classic recipe, the main ingredients are flour, sugar, chocolate (generally dark, or in combination with milk chocolate and white chocolate), butter, eggs and optionally hazelnuts. But as you can see I totally turned it upside down!

Let's see what I created for you and me!



Ingredients:

(in a 20 x 20 cm pan)

  • 600 g sweet potatoes

  • 150 g dark chocolate

  • 30 g rice flour

  • 50 g oat flakes*

  • 170 ml white yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter


*The AIC scientific committee said that most celiacs can include oats in their diet, without having negative health effects. Always check that there is a gluten free certification. In place of oats, however, it is possible to add the same quantity of minced nuts.


Method:


  1. Boil the whole potatoes and with all the peel.

  2. Leave to cool and peel.

  3. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a double boiler.

  4. Mash the potatoes with a fork in a bowl.

  5. Add the other ingredients (except the melted chocolate) and mix well.

  6. Now you can add the melted chocolate.

  7. Mix well until the mixture is well mixed.

  8. Pour the mixture into the pan covered with baking paper.

  9. Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.

  10. Once the cooking time is over, leave to cool and cut into 6 equal squares.

  11. Store for max. 3 days in the refrigerator.


What will come out will be a delicious and very soft cake, which is also very healthy! Even without the addition of sugars, it is very tasty: a single tablespoon of peanut butter gives an excellent aftertaste!

You can cover it with cocoa, with a glaze, icing sugar or you can accompany it with ice cream, yogurt, cream and it is delicious both hot and cold!
